Fried prawns with garlic and pepper

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg prawns
  • 1 red sweet pepper
  • 1 yellow sweet
  • pepper
  • 5-10 garlic cloves to taste
  • 1 scallion (green or spring onion)

Seasoning

  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • vegetable oil
  • tempura flour

Preparation

Wash and drain the prawns. Lightly sprinkle-coat them in tempura flour and deep fry until the skins open.
Finely chop the sweet peppers, garlic and scallions and pan fry until aromatic. Add the deep-fried prawns to the pan and stir fry with all the ingredients and add the oyster and soy sauce. Serve with Thai rice of your choice.
