Art @Chaofah is proud to present our new exhibition: OLD & NEW, YET CLASSIC by Mr. Kraingrat Tabpabut.
Phuket - November 20, 2019: Mr. Eddy Brosse, General Manager of Ramada Plaza Chaofah Phuket opens the 2nd exhibition of Art @Chaofah “OLD & NEW, YET CLASSIC by Mr. Kraingrat Tabpabut after a successful first Exhibition and the grand opening of Art@Chaofah; the new gallery exhibition in town on 2nd floor of Peranakan Courtyard of Ramada Plaza Chaofah in late August.
Khun Kraingrat Tabpabut is a local Phuketian artist with very interesting and characteristic traits, in both Old and New works. Thus we shall present two very different series and periods of his art, however different, both display Classic traits of early Western 20th century artists: something between a curved Mondrian or geometric Matisse, perhaps Dame Hepworth with a pinch of Picasso, and some lesser known brushes of Duchamp. In addition to this, we shall present some very special paintings of the Royal Family to pay respect to the late King Rama IXs birthday.
The opening ceremony is followed by a private cocktail reception, on Wednesday 20th November at at 7pm with honourable guests from Consulates, schools and private associations.
The Gallery is opened for guests to visit the exhibition -“OLD & NEW, YET CLASSIC” by Mr. Kraingrat Tabpabut- every day from 20th November 2019 to 6th January 2020 (24hours a day), on 2nd floor of Peranakan Courtyard, Ramada Plaza Chao Fah Hotel.
