This sensory adventure will see guests enjoying food cooked over fire while dining in the hotel’s gorgeous, whimsical gardens, which were created by acclaimed designer Bill Bensley,
“Botanic Blaze Banquet is an enchanting dining concept that combines the rustic charm of open-fire cooking with the serenity of a garden setting,” says The Slate’s owner Krystal Prakaikaew Na-Ranong. “This experience is designed to connect diners with nature and the primal allure of fire-cooked cuisine, while creating a link to the traditional cooking methods used by Phuket’s tin miners in the past, who used open fire to prepare their food.”
The Slate’s gardens provide the perfect backdrop to immerse your senses in the sounds and smells of nature, while enjoying the fun of interactive cooking stations including a build-your-own-burger station, a taco bar, and mix-your-own-mocktail stand.
BOLD events are specially created to take our guests on a culinary adventure and the latest Botanic-themed banquet promises a memorable evening, nestled in the Coliseum’s lush gardens, surrounded by verdant foliage and soft lighting, around an open-fire barbecue area, where chefs prepare dishes over natural flames. The menu will centre on flame-kissed specialties with a focus on locally sourced and seasonal ingredients including fresh vegetables and herbs picked from the hotel’s own gardens.
