Veggie delights with relaxed resort dining experiences in Karon and Krabi

A special menu of veggie delights is being served from October 1 – 15, 2016, at Beyond Resort Karon, in Phuket. A three-course set dinner for two can also be enjoyed across the water at Beyond Resort Krabi, in Krabi Province, between October 1 -30, 2016.
The nine-day Vegetarian Festival is a stunning, visual spectacular attracting visitors from around the world. Beginning at the start of the month, this colorful tradition, celebrated originally by the Chinese community, is aimed at restoring balance to the body and mind; inspiring good health and inner peace. Feel-good holidays are inspired at adults-only Beyond Resort Karon and at family-friendly Beyond Resort Krabi; perfect places to stay during the festivities.
Full-of-flavor for the festive mood, Beyond Resort Karon is serving up healthy rice paper rolls filled with fresh garden vegetables and tofu with a tasty chili vinegar dressing; a creamy, mashed potato and yellow bean curd coconut curry; and eggplant simmered with a traditional grape curry sauce with Thai basil leaves, all priced at an appetizing 150 THB.
The vegetarian set dinner at Beyond Resort Krabi is being served at an appetizing 1,000 THB for two with three delicious courses. Classic minestrone Milano soup is the appetizer, with risotto rice and pasta, followed by an entrée of baked vegetable crepe with carrots, spinach and tomato and rosemary, plus an apple and parmesan cream cheese gratin. To complement the glorious vegetarian flavors is a wonderfully creamy panna cotta with a raspberry sauce and fresh strawberry relish.
