Dinner at PLUM Prime Steakhouse is a unique and magical occasion! This chic restaurant situated at a stunning hillside location overlooking the Andaman Sea hosted a special evening featuring their new menu. There were specially crafted cocktails to sip while watching a spectacular sunset - Ginger and Lemongrass Martini, Smokey Cinnamon and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Executive Chef Francesco Greco and his team prepared a visually stunning feast of vibrant flavours and tastes from fresh exotic ingredients imported from sources around the world such as Angus beef from Australia and the US, seafood, homemade and imported pastas, olive oils, smoked salt from Cyprus and other herbs and spices much of which is prepared in a charcoal oven. Highlights of the evening included French duck foie gras, Japanese octopus, slowly braised in bay leaves infused red wine and served warm on Jerusalem artichoke cream with baked Kalamata and glass potato chips, Cavatelli pasta with clams, Carnaroli rice risotto, Giant Hokkaido scallops, dry aged Australian 100% pasture fed Black Angus bone in steak carved at the table followed by decadent desserts of ginger figs bavaroise, chocolate ganache and a ricotta with chocolate, mint and honey. The evening was one of inspiring and tantalising delights of dishes and ambience that leave you wanting more.
