Bangkok Hospital Phuket opened the Bangkok-Phuket Medical Clinic Khao Lak with a Grand Opening on 21 November 2016. Phang Nga Vice Governor Sripong Butrngamdee presided over the ceremony in the presence of Dr. Kongkiat Kespechara, CEO Group 6, Bangkok Dusit Medical Services (PLC) & Managing Director, as well as hospital management and staff. The clinic is located in Tambon Kukkak, Takuapa District, Phang Nga province (approx. 0.3 km from Police Boat 813 Memorial), and run by Bangkok Hospital Phuket. Its medical services include general consultation and treatment for common diseases, basic health check-up, a 24-hour emergency and patient referral center, all in the hands of specially trained physicians and medical staff. It is expected to help patients access medical services/hospital care in a timely and professional manner. Then, they will sustain less severity and detriment.
