CAFE NINE is a celebration of contemporary Thai and Pan-Asian cuisine with Western accents. Offer signature menus and drinks including Chicken Satay, Khao Pad Sapparod Goong, Mango Sticky Rice, Butterfly Pea & Lime Cooler, Mango Tango, all made from an array of only the freshest ingredients, average check price start from 350 – 500 ฿, two dishes (two persons, no drinks).
All-day casual dining open at 11:00 am – 10:00 pm (Last order at 9:30 pm) is served in a setting that features dining walls lined with beautiful Jim Thompson fabrics in tropical prints with shades of green and natural browns all framed in teakwood and mirrors and then lit by specially designed pendant lighting. A back wall that is festooned with whimsical Thai kick balls (Sepak takraw) and tropical plants works nicely to lighten the slate grey concrete floor, creating a fashionably hip dining experience for everyone.
Jim Thompson was renowned for his excellent hospitality; he would spend countless evenings at his art-filled residence hosting luminaries from around the world, during their visits to Thailand. Inspired by this legacy and Jim Thompson’s passion for creating a place for great food and good company, the Thai Silk Company opened its first cafe in 1996, inside Jim Thompson’s main store on Surawong Road.
Today, the company boasts a string of fine restaurants that specialize in Thai cuisine.
