Now in its eight year, the Singapore Yacht Show (SYS) provided an excellent opportunity for the Kata Rocks Superyacht Rendezvous (KRSR) team to meet with some of the world’s finest superyacht and international yachting brands to pave the way to the KRSR 2018 edition.
Held at the award-winning ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove in Singapore, the KRSR team were pleased to meet with existing partners and connect with new ones at this year’s SYS. We caught up with representatives from Princess Yachts, Benetti, Camper and Nicholson, Feadship, Simpson Marine and many more, with all our partners keen to support the KRSR 2018 edition scheduled from 7 to 9 December.
Highlights from this year’s Singapore Yacht Show included:
There were a limited number of superyachts on display (10 at SYS compared to 16 superyachts at the 2017 KRSR), whilst major brands were represented including MY Lady Azul (Camper and Nicholson), MY Aquamarine (Burgess) and Princess Yachts.
Whilst so many parties were taking place, the KRSR team joined the cocktail reception on the spectacular superyacht MY Lady Azul to celebrate the first anniversary of Camper & Nicholsons Asia. Many discerning guests were eager to get into the party spirit, with owners, designers, builders and other superyacht industry professionals coming together for what was hailed by all as a great evening.
One of the highlight parties of the SYS 2018 was the World of Yacht Arabia and Oceanco party held at the magnificent Atlas Bar. The creme-de-la-creme attended including representatives from the Monaco Yacht Show, Monaco Tourism and Yachting Board, Morgan Stanley, Sessa Marine and other renown yachting industry heavyweights.
We are very pleased that everyone is eager and looking forward to the Kata Rocks Superyacht Rendezvous 2018 edition, which is poised to be the most spectacular and best yet. We look forward to welcoming back our established partners and a select number of new ones to Asia’s leading private superyacht event.
