6th November 2018 - Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa, Nai Yang Beach has invited its media colleagues to celebrate the launch of an innovative new F&B concept and environmental initiative at an exclusive evening event: Media Mixer Volume #1.
Hosted on the lawn in front of Big Fish Restaurant and Bar, the resort’s stunning seafront venue overlooking Nai Yang Beach, this event gathered the media to sample innovative new culinary creations from three of the resort’s leading chefs, and experience the new “No Plastic Straws” concept.
Executive Chef Bastian Ballweg, Executive Sous Chef Worakant Singha, and Pastry Chef Bancha Rakchart all showcased their impressive skills to the guests, presenting highlights of the new menu at Big Fish Restaurant and a special pastry station. Following photos with the chefs, the evening culminated with an exclusive dinner in Big Fish Restaurant.
“We are delighted to invite our friends in the press to our Media Mixer Event, which brings back wonderful memories of our launch party in 2017, as so many familiar faces have now returned. This was our opportunity to say “thank you” and unveil our latest F&B initiatives, including our new menu and “No Straws Project” which will help save the environment. The No Straws Project is the latest example of how Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa, Nai Yang Beach is leading the way in terms of environmental awareness and sustainability. The resort is planning to devise new ways to reuse and recycle in future, including further reducing its use of plastics.
Media Mixer Volume #1 provided an example of the resort’s creative meeting concepts, which will also be offered to event planners in future. Other concepts, ideas and initiatives will be revealed at the next event, Media Mixer Volume #2.
