Crystal clear waters, beautiful coral reefs and a prolific marine life; it’s an underwater paradise. The best time is between November and April, when there’s very little rain and the sea is clear and calm. Most of the west coast beaches, especially the smaller ones, offer good snorkelling – as do the islands off the southeast coast of Phuket
